AI for independent bike shops

Your shop runs on two hands. Give it eighteen.

18 Spokes builds and manages AI that answers your customers, fills your service calendar, keeps your reviews handled, and gets your shop found — while you stay on the stand where you belong.

The problem

You didn't open a bike shop to answer the same email forty times

Staffing shortages, D2C brands undercutting your floor, e-bike service complexity, reviews piling up unanswered, a website that hasn't changed since 2019. None of it is a bike problem. All of it eats the hours you'd rather spend on bikes and customers.

Front of house

Customers expect answers at 9 PM

"Is my bike ready?" "Do you have this in a 56?" "What's a tune-up cost?" Our AI support answers instantly, around the clock, in your shop's voice — and hands off to you only when a human actually needs to step in.

Reputation

Reviews decide who walks in

Google's local results show three shops. Yours needs to be one of them. We keep every review answered, request new ones at the right moment, and watch what people say about you across the web.

Marketing

D2C brands are outspending you online

You can't beat them on ad budget. You can beat them on being local, trusted, and present. We run the content, email, and social work that keeps your shop in front of the riders in your zip code.

How it works

Like adding staff, without adding payroll

We are not a software dashboard you have to learn. We build the AI, connect it to your shop's tools, and manage it for you — the way a good service writer manages your repair queue.

Step 1 — Intake

We learn your shop

A working session on your brands, service menu, policies, busy seasons, and how you talk to customers. That becomes the knowledge your AI runs on.

Step 2 — Build

We set everything up

Support agent trained and tested. Review pipeline connected. Content calendar loaded. Website tuned or rebuilt. You approve; we launch.

Step 3 — Manage

We keep it running

Ongoing monitoring, monthly reporting in plain English, and adjustments as your seasons change. You get one point of contact, not a ticket queue.

The service menu

Everything a modern shop needs, one flat rate

AI customer support, marketing, reputation management, content, and web design & hosting — built for bike shops, priced like a service package, not a usage meter.

What shop owners ask us first

Every shop we talk to has been burned by software before — a POS upsell, a marketing contract that didn't move the needle, a website nobody's touched since it launched. Here's what we tell people up front.

Is this only useful for shops that sell e-bikes?

No. E-bikes and service are where NBDA data shows the strongest 2026 growth expectations, so our support and marketing content lean into those categories — but the same AI answers questions about any bike, part, or repair your shop handles. If your shop is mostly acoustic bikes and accessories, the setup looks the same; only the content changes.

What if the AI tells a customer something wrong?

It only works from what we build with you: your posted hours, your service menu, your actual pricing and policies. When a question falls outside that knowledge, it says so and hands the conversation to a person instead of guessing. You see and approve everything before it ever talks to a customer.

How long does setup actually take?

Most shops are live within one to two weeks of the intake call. The slowest part is usually pulling together your service menu and policies in one place — once we have that, building and testing the AI support agent takes a few business days.

Do I have to switch my website or POS to work with you?

No. We connect to what you already run. If your current site and point-of-sale system do their job, we build around them. Web design and hosting is available if you want it, but it's never a requirement to use our other services.

Fifteen minutes. No pitch deck.

Tell us what's eating your week. We'll tell you honestly whether AI can take it off your plate — and what it would cost.
